  • Enable Play Protect
  • First, go to the Play Store app on your mobile.
  • Then, tap the Menu option.
  • Now, select the 'Play Protect' option.
  • Then, turn on the 'Scan device security threats' option.
  • If it is already on, tap on the 'Scan' button.
  • Google will scan your installed apps for security issues and recommend actions respectively.

 Having Play Protect enabled protects your device from problematic apps. 

  • Block website notifications
  • Launch Google Chrome on your mobile
  • Then, tap on the More option.
  • Now, select the 'Settings' option.
  • Tap on the 'Site Settings' option.
  • Then, under Permissions, tap on the 'Notifications' option.
  • Now, turn off the notification for the webpage.

 If you don't see the Permission or Notification option, the site does not have notifications turned on. That should stop any annoying Chrome virus warning message or ads in Chrome. 

  • Factory reset
  • First, open 'Settings.'
  • Then, tap on the 'General Management' option.
  • Now, choose 'Reset' and then 'Factory data reset' option.
  • Now, enter your PIN or pattern.
  • Then, tap on the 'Delete All' option.

The reset process may take time, so wait till it is finished. Once done, download and install the apps from Google Play Store and restore the data. Once you've performed the steps above, your Android will be clean of any malware which will have caused the fake virus warning pop-up on your Android.
